Job summary

Huron Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead client engagements from pursuit through delivery, combining project management, team leadership and deep data analysis. The role emphasizes Workday CLM, Strategic Sourcing, and procurement architecture with a strong focus on contracting processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in requirements analysis, solution design, and leading Workday implementations, plus the ability to mentor teams and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience analyzing requirements, designing solutions, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and working with business users
• MUST have experience leading and architecting Workday CLM and Strategic Sourcing implementations
• Operational expertise in contracting, including contract authoring, negotiation workflows, approvals, renewals and compliance
• Experience leading and architecting Workday Procurement, Supplier Accounts and Inventory is preferred
• Certification in Workday Financials/Supply Chain or hands‑on experience with the application
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of experience leading project workstreams and client engagements with little to no supervision
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior consultants and build bench strength within a practice
• Ability to solve complex problems creatively with strong critical thinking
• Strong analytical skills, functional or technical knowledge, and hands‑on expertise with cloud‑based enterprise solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain results, risks and issues to internal teams and client leaders
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with clients or other internal project teams
