Job summary

ABC Fitness is hiring an AI-first web developer to build and run AI systems that power our web development, and to act as the operator, reviewer, and quality gate for outputs. You’ll own multiple web properties and integrate legacy platforms into modern frameworks, building automation to keep sites running and improving.

This role goes beyond automation: you’ll design the AI system itself—what it builds, what gets automated, and how it evolves as sites evolve. Remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (Next.js, Astro, React, JS/TS).
• Experience migrating legacy sites (WordPress) to modern frameworks.
• Proven ability to consolidate multiple properties with IA/redirects and SEO-safe migration.
• Experience building AI-driven or agentic systems for web development, publishing, or QA.
• Designs using AI tools for prototyping and turning outputs into production code.
• Familiarity with CRO/multivariate testing tools and audience targeting.
• Experience with GTM server-side and integrations like Marketo and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Own development and maintenance across multiple web properties (Next.js, Astro, React; legacy WordPress).
• Lead legacy-to-modern migrations end-to-end without SEO loss or broken integrations.
• Plan consolidation of separate sites into a single unified site with migration/redirect strategy.
• Build and manage AI-driven development systems and agentic workflows for publishing, QA, and maintenance.
• Define human review gates for AI-built work and decide what is automated vs. human-reviewed.
• Use AI for frontend design and prototyping, delivering production-quality code.
• Execute CRO programs including multivariate and A/B tests across experiences.
• Maintain tracking and integrations across GTM, Marketo, and Salesforce.

We're hiring an AI-first web developer to build and run the AI systems and agentic workflows that power our web development, and to act as the operator, reviewer, and quality gate over what those systems produce.

You’ll own multiple web properties and manage the integration of legacy platforms into modern frameworks. Part of the job is closing the gap of disparate properties. Part of it is building the automation that keeps the resulting sites running, publishing, and improving.

This is not a “use AI to write code faster” role. You're expected to design and manage the AI system itself: what it builds, how it's reviewed, what gets automated versus what needs a human, and how that system evolves as the sites do.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• - Own development and maintenance across our web properties, spanning modern frameworks (Next.js, Astro, React) and legacy platforms (WordPress) still awaiting migration
• - Lead legacy-to-modern-framework migrations end to end, including full site refactors, without losing SEO equity, tracking, or existing integrations
• - Plan and execute consolidation of separate web properties into a single unified site, including content migration, redirect strategy, and information architecture
• - Build and manage AI-driven development systems and agentic workflows that handle the bulk of page building, publishing, QA, and routine site maintenance
• - Define and maintain the human review gate that AI-built work passes through before it goes live
• - Use AI tools for front-end design and prototyping, and implement final designs handed off by human designers as production-quality code
• - Build and run CRO programs, including multivariate and A/B testing, serving different site experiences to different visitor segments
• - Keep tracking and integration health intact across GTM (including server-side GTM), Marketo, and Salesforce as it touches the web properties
• - Partner with Marketing, SEO, and Product Marketing on site structure, content, and page performance

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• - Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks: Next.js, Astro, React, and modern JS/TS
• - Real experience migrating a legacy site (WordPress or similar) to a modern framework, not just building on a greenfield stack
• - Experience consolidating multiple web properties into one, including redirects, IA, and SEO-safe migration
• - A track record of building AI-driven or agentic systems for web development, publishing, or QA. Actual systems that automate real workflows, not occasional use of an AI coding assistant
• - Comfort using AI tools for design and prototyping, and turning that output (or a designer's files) into shipped front-end code
• - Experience with CRO and multivariate/A-B testing tools (VWO, Optimizely, or similar), including audience-based targeting
• - Working familiarity with GTM (server-side is a plus) and marketing stack integrations like Marketo and Salesforce

AND IT'S NICE TO HAVE

• - Experience in a multi-brand or multi-property web environment
• - SEO/AEO literacy
• - Experience standing up an agentic coding pipeline (e.g. Claude Code) in a production environment

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations. The anticipated compensation range for this position is -
$127,000 - 163,000 USD- annually. In addition to base compensation, eligible employees may be offered other forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs, where applicable. Compensation and benefits may vary by location and are subject to applicable legal, business, and market requirements.
