Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field required.
• Must possess, or obtain within one year of employment, a Class B Water Supply System Operator Certificate.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in the water utility industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure planning, regulatory compliance, budgeting, project and construction management, personnel administration, and utility strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Administration, direct supervision, operation, maintenance, and strategic direction of the water distribution system.
• Provide leadership to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and compliant operation of the utility’s water facilities and infrastructure.
• Plan for current and future water system needs.
