  • Background in UX architecture or facilitating stakeholder/customer.

Job description

The UX Manager role oversees multiple concurrent projects while leading a design team, driving both individual and team performance. The position calls for strong leadership and coaching ability, along with sharp attention to detail, to keep output aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Craft engaging customer-facing experiences as a hands-on senior designer, balancing individual project work with team leadership
  • Drive efforts to streamline interface design and elevate the overall user experience across the product portfolio
  • Own the development and ongoing refinement of company-wide design standards, including maintaining and evolving the design system's components and patterns
  • Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and AI-driven enhancements to streamline design workflows and improve team output
  • Coach and mentor design team members, setting direction to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines
  • Maintain documentation of design guidelines and proactively share best practices for using shared components and patterns
  • Build mockups and interactive prototypes to support usability testing
  • Collaborate closely with UX Research and Front-End Engineering to guide designs from concept through validated implementation
  • Partner with cross-functional leadership to advance the product roadmap and reinforce a user-centered design culture
  • Present design work to internal stakeholders and executive leadership, incorporating feedback into iterative design cycles
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative research to inform and support design decisions
  • Participate in and/or lead Design Sprint sessions
  • Represent the design function in supervisory and leadership-level meetings
  • Apply approved AI tools and automation to boost productivity across the development lifecycle — spanning requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations
  • Review team members' work and provide input to management on performance evaluations, compensation, and promotion decisions
  • Take part in and lead individual performance reviews
  • Support hiring efforts, including conducting interviews and recommending candidates for further rounds
  • Build plans to meet goals set by senior leadership
  • Oversee multiple simultaneous projects
  • Support the organization's continual improvement efforts to maintain ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 compliance, adhering to quality and information security policies and objectives
  • Report any security-related concerns, incidents, or risks to the appropriate internal team or supervisor
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership
Must have
