Position Overview :

This position will play a critical role in ensuring alignment, operational efficiency and strategic execution across the US Marketing team as well as the US Commercial Organization. This role ensures that business strategy translates into clear, actionable initiatives by optimizing and delivering standardized and consistent organizational processes, tracking performance, and managing critical projects to enhance business outcomes.

The Senior Marketing Manager (SMM) will partner with Platform Marketing leaders to ensure strong execution of business strategy, master brand messaging and communications through multiple channels / forums. The SMM will lead the process to develop and implement impactful engagement strategies with societies and drive efficiency of conference spend. This role is also responsible for oversight of key initiatives to provide accurate and timely product supply information to our Sales team, so they can best serve customers.

The SMM will lead and develop a team (2) and is responsible for talent management and building critical marketing capabilities.

The SMM will :

  • Have an ability to manage and persuade large teams, lead through complex situations, and manage success through adversity.
  • Collaborate with Marketing organization and other internal partners to implement critical initiatives that deliver growth.
  • Provide leadership and support of the business planning process and ongoing performance metrics and reporting against business plan.
  • Pro-actively find opportunities to deliver innovative, integrated communication strategies to optimize internal and external customer engagement through multiple channels / forums.
  • Lead planning and execution of commercial meetings with broad cross-functional team (National Sales Meeting, etc.).
  • Lead governance and processes to develop and complete society engagement plans and maximize conference budget.
  • Develop and deliver against specified budgets and timeframes and will ensure applicable company compliance with all relevant country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters in related field or MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience in Marketing, Commercial Operations, Sales, other related business experience required.
  • Strong collaboration, project management and organizational influence skills required.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills required.
  • 5 years of (Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical AND / OR Consumer) preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate and manage others through influence (comfortable with non-line authority) preferred.
  • Experience developing brand strategy preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of brand marketing, digital marketing, conference management, and marketing communications preferred.
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics, business concepts and issues preferred.
  • Travel 25% domestic will be required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

120,000 - $207,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency :

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar / performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
