Cox Fleet in Texas is seeking a Senior Truck Maintenance Manager to lead a team of 75–100 technicians, drive productivity, and support growth. Based in San Antonio or Austin, you will oversee mobile maintenance operations and collaborate with customers to meet urgent requirements.

The role requires a diesel technician background, leadership experience, strong Excel/data skills, and a focus on safety and process improvement. Base salary range is $101,500–$169,100 per year.

Qualifications

• 14 years of diesel technician experience on medium to heavy-duty vehicles
• Bachelor's degree with 10+ years in diesel repair or related field
• Minimum of three years in a management or leadership role
• Valid driver's license and Cox Fleet driving qualifications
• Based in San Antonio or Austin, TX with ability to travel within market

Cox Fleet is hiring a Senior Truck Maintenance Manager to join our Management Team and support the Company's future growth. If you are looking for a new place to call home, we would love to talk to you!

Candidate needs to be based in San Antonio, TX, or Austin, TX, ideally.

Duties:

• Ability to lead a team of 75-100 technicians to drive productivity and growth
• Skillset in Sales and mechanically inclined; generating new business within the market and supporting the operations of the business
• Knowledge of the mobile work environment and challenges, maintenance practices, and Cox Fleet-specific requirements and processes for mobile maintenance
• Ability to act with a high sense of urgency.
• Expresses ideas and disagreements, constructively resolves conflict, and encourages others to do the same.
• Able to collaborate with customers, especially customers with urgent issues, to provide solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Strong Excel and data entry skills, and the ability to learn new platforms (such as Cox Fleet IT Systems, including Web Wrench, MobileFrame, RO Writer)
• Demonstrated skill and interest in continuous improvement of processes.
• Proficient computer skills. Competent using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Skype, etc.)
• Able to motivate team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

• Provide leadership to individuals and management team daily.
• Drive New Business in Developing Markets and Support current business in existing markets.
• Develop productivity reports and work with team members to improve productivity.
• Actively work across Cox Fleet organizations to resolve issues related to the technician's role.
• Lead Technicians to perform best practices and achieve Quarterly targets.
• Meet with any MTL's, Technician's, and Customers frequently.
• Directly Oversee the operations and Mobile Technician Leaders in the Market.
• Provide leadership and supervision to ensure a high level of efficiency, productivity, and safety standards are met.
• Coordinating and conducting regular meetings with technicians to engage, energize, and mentor.
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, with fourteen years (14) of experience as a Diesel Technician on Medium to Heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skills/ experiences
• Bachelor's degree with ten (10) plus years of experience as a Diesel Technician on Medium to Heavy-duty vehicle repair or equivalent combination of technical education/certifications/skills/ experiences
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a management or leadership role
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet Cox Fleet minimum driving qualification standards.
• Must be at least 21 yrs. or older.

USD 101,500.00 - 169,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $101,500.00 - $169,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
