Job summary

DePelchin seeks a Sr. Manager of Transportation, PAL & LPS to provide strategic leadership and oversee complex programs within the child welfare space. You will supervise program leadership, ensure compliance, and drive outcomes for children, youth, and families.

Responsibilities include directing transportation services, PAL implementation, and cross-functional collaboration with DFPS, courts, and partners to improve safety, stability, and permanency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant experience considered in lieu of education
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in the child welfare field, including PAL, LPS, Foster care, Conservatorship, or Family-Based Services
• At least three (3) years' supervisory or management experience leading staff, overseeing case workers or units

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for Transportation, PAL, and LPS programs.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate program operations to meet contractual obligations and organizational goals.
• Monitor staffing, workloads, and resource needs across PAL and LPS operations.
• Coach and evaluate staff through supervision, case consultations, and performance reviews.
• Ensure safe, timely transportation for children and families and successful PAL program implementation.
