Job description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Program Manager in United States. As a Senior Manager, Technical Program Management, you will lead complex technical programs that drive innovation and operational excellence across multiple teams. You will serve as a key liaison between engineering, product, design, and data science teams, ensuring alignment on technical strategies and delivery objectives. This role emphasizes execution, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration, empowering you to influence decisions at the highest levels while guiding teams to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions. You will be responsible for both the technical vision and operational execution of programs, including the adoption of emerging technologies such as cloud computing and Generative AI. Your work will directly impact the efficiency, scalability, and quality of technology initiatives across the organization.

Accountabilities
  • Lead large, complex technical programs, coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve business and technical goals
  • Act as a technical liaison, identifying trade-offs, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders
  • Simplify complex technical concepts to drive informed decision-making across product, engineering, design, and data teams
  • Apply data-driven and quantitative approaches to track program metrics, solve problems, and guide execution
  • Mentor and support engineering and technical program teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Manage program scope, schedules, and resources while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a technical field preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management
  • At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in software development, systems engineering, or data engineering
  • Experience delivering large, complex programs involving distributed systems, SaaS platforms, and cloud computing (AWS preferred)
  • Proven experience in Agile practices and helping teams organize and execute efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, influencing, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience in highly regulated environments and applying Generative AI to business problems is a plus
  • Strong cross-team collaboration skills and high emotional intelligence to effectively manage diverse teams
  • Authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration support
