Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice at KPMG. This role involves providing comprehensive tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships across various industries and client sizes.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver tax compliance and consulting services to partnership clients, including Fortune 100 companies and mid-market businesses.
  2. Consult on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and lifecycle events.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on partnership consulting, reporting, and technology design.
  4. Lead, mentor, and manage teams of tax professionals and client portfolios.
  5. Oversee engagement risks, performance, budgets, and resource planning.
  6. Stay updated on current tax practices, technologies, and participate in development initiatives.
  7. Uphold KPMG's standards of integrity, professionalism, and respect in the workplace.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight years' recent experience in partnership federal and state tax compliance within an accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, or J.D./LL.M.; candidates must obtain approved credentials within one year if not already held.
  • Strong technical skills, critical thinking, and experience with MS Office and tax software.
  • Excellent communication skills for articulating complex information.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Information

Salary ranges vary by location, with a California range of $135,700 - $273,400. KPMG offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and well-being programs.
