Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice at KPMG. This role offers an opportunity to work with high-profile clients, providing tax compliance and consulting services related to partnerships.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships for a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 100 companies and mid-market businesses.
  2. Consult on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and other partnership lifecycle events.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams focused on partnership consulting, reporting, technology design, and industry knowledge.
  4. Lead, mentor, and train teams of tax professionals, managing client portfolios and acting as the main contact for clients.
  5. Oversee engagement risks and performance, including budgeting, resource planning, and financial metrics.
  6. Stay updated on current tax practices, new technologies, and contribute to market activities and process improvements.
  7. Uphold integrity, professionalism, and a respectful work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight years' recent experience in partnership federal and state tax compliance within an accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent, J.D./LL.M., or other approved credentials; candidates without them have one year to obtain an approved designation.
  • Strong technical skills, quality service mindset, and experience with MS Office and tax software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
