Job summary

PwC is seeking a Tax Innovation - Data Engineer at Senior Manager level in the United States. You will design and build data infrastructure and pipelines to enable efficient data processing and analysis, transforming raw data into insights for clients.

You will lead and coach teams, apply systems thinking, and communicate clearly with stakeholders while guiding strategic data engineering initiatives across PwC’s Tax practice.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis.
• Implementing data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to convert raw data into actionable insights.
• Leveraging advanced technologies to drive business growth through data engineering.
• Building and maintaining scalable data architectures using AWS and Azure Data Factory.
• Utilizing Apache Airflow and Hadoop to orchestrate complex data workflows and enhance processing.
• Developing and optimizing data models and warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Validating data quality and security within analytics frameworks.
• Coaching and motivating teams to solve complex problems and deliver quality results.
• Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems and opportunities in data projects.
• Crafting and conveying clear messages that tell a holistic story to clients.
