Senior Manager, Talent Growth and Mobility

The Sr. Manager, Career Growth & Mobility will lead the design and execution of scalable career development, internal mobility and talent planning programs that align with Veeam’s talent strategy and business priorities. This role will help shape career architecture, promote employee movement across the organization, and enable a culture of growth and development. Partnering closely with Business Partners, functional leaders, and Total Rewards, you will integrate career pathways, mobility initiatives and process and policy optimization into the employee lifecycle. An important aspect of this role will be change management, supporting successful adoption and engagement in our priority programs and experiences. This position reports to the Director, Career Growth & HR Transformation and sits on the Talent Growth & Inclusion Team within the Global People & Culture function. In addition to your immediate domain, you will also serve as a strategic partner on all Talent Growth & Inclusion programs with assigned functional partners to optimize how we bring all talent programs to life across learning, inclusion, performance and career development.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and implement Veeam’s strategy for career growth, including internal mobility, promotion and development.
  • Create and execute change management plans and deliverables, including communications and enablement resources.
  • Design scalable career architecture and role-based frameworks in partnership with HR, business SMEs, and external partners.
  • Build and implement mobility programs and tools that enable internal movement and personalized development.
  • Optimize the promotion process to drive a transparent and consistent approach to promotion at Veeam.
  • Assess and optimize use of existing systems (e.g., Workday, LinkedIn Learning) to support career growth at scale.
  • Develop and manage phased implementation roadmaps that balance speed, impact, and sustainability.
  • Lead end-to-end project management, driving timelines, accountability, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with other People & Culture COEs to embed career and mobility principles into enabling processes and programs, including Learning & Development, Performance, Talent Acquisition, HR Systems, etc.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners to ensure consistent adoption and impact of Talent Growth & Inclusion programs across regions.

Qualifications

  • 8-10+ years of experience in HR, Talent Management, or related functions, with a focus on career development and mobility.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering scalable talent programs within a global organization.
  • Strong project management and change management skills; ability to drive complex initiatives forward in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Comfortable operating independently within a lean team environment; flexible and adaptable to evolving business needs.
  • Proficient in using data to inform decisions and optimize program outcomes.
  • Experience leveraging HR systems (Workday, LinkedIn Learning, etc.) to support employee development.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.

$141,500 - $202,100 USD
