Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Senior Manager, Supply Chain (SC) Legal Advisor to support purchasing professionals and collaborate with Counsel on legally related issues. This advisory role focuses on supplier disputes, contract terms, and compliance, not as an attorney representing Raytheon in court.

The role involves negotiating terms with suppliers, drafting agreements, and guiding complex legal questions with the LCC office, while traveling minimally to Raytheon sites as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree (Juris Doctorate/Masters) with at least 7 years experience.
• Experience with US Government (FAR/DFARS Supplements) and Government contract procurement processes, licenses, and/or commercial contracts drafting/negotiations.
• Experience in legal research and analysis, supply chain processes and/or supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on resolving supplier performance issues and advise on potential claims and remedies.
• Draft and negotiate terms & conditions, software licenses, and other agreements for protection of Raytheon.
• Research legal issues for the Supply Chain or LCC office.
• Assist in establishing negotiation goals and deviations from standard provisions.
