Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC is seeking a senior strategy professional to drive core project components and deliver actionable insights for executive teams. This role emphasizes problem-solving, analysis, and collaborative problem-solving across business lines.

In-office collaboration is central; four days in the office with one remote day. A bachelor’s degree and 7–10 years in financial services or Fortune 500 contexts are expected, MBA preferred.

• Experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or marketing strategy, especially within a financial services context.

• Identify and provide analytical support for potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestiture opportunities.

Job Description

Ameriprise Financial supports clients in achieving their financial goals through long-term, trusted relationships with 10,000 advisors nationwide, skilled in fostering relationships built on trust and expertise. Specializing in retirement planning for mass affluent and affluent clients (with $500,000+ in assets), Ameriprise delivers tailored investments through our branded advisor force, insurance and annuity solutions through our RiverSource subsidiary, and asset management products through our Columbia Threadneedle asset manager.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA from a top-tier institution.
• Experience working within a Wealth or Asset Manager.
• Experience in using Microsoft 365 Copilot as well as software-embedded generative AI tools for strategy development, data analysis, competitive and market intelligence, executive-level synthesis and recommendation generation.

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $140,200 - $192,800 a year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
