Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC is seeking an office and client service assistant for the Ameriprise Advisor Group. You will handle reception, client intake, data entry, and appointment coordination to support advisors and ongoing client relationships.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and 1-3 years of relevant experience, with excellent communication and confidentiality. In-office collaboration with the team is essential for success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Log and distribute correspondence and check deposits.
  • Maintain files for the supervisory jurisdiction and clients.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment maintenance.
  • Process expense submissions, tracking and approvals.
  • Initiate maintenance requests and schedule branch events.
  • Provide reception support: answer phones, greet clients and prospects.
  • Support client experience and appointment scheduling.
  • Enter client data into various applications.
  • Assist advisors with meeting preparation and follow-up.
  • Support marketing programs and practice events.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • logging/distributing correspondence and check deposits
  • maintenance for office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files
  • office supply management (including maintenance of equipment)
  • processing expense submissions-tracking-approvals
  • initiating maintenance requests
  • schedule wholesalers and support branch seminar series/events
  • Responsible for Reception support: answering phones during regular business hours, greeting clients-prospects
Practice Support Duties
  • delivery of Ameriprise Client Experience for clients of one or more practices
  • scheduling client or prospect appointments
  • entering client data into various applications
  • supervising progress vs. practice goals
  • addressing client service requests
  • establishing new clients with Ameriprise, including introducing the digital experience
  • assisting advisor in preparation or follow-up to client or prospect meetings
  • Supporting the practice’s marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.)
Required Qualifications
  • Associate (2-year) Degree Or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years Relevant Experience Required
  • Able to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and operate under limited/minimal direction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients
  • Effective Shown Written And Oral Communication Skills
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Understanding of a financial advisors practice
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree Or Equivalent
  • Understanding of business basics (profitability, negotiation), ability to work directly with clients to understand, resolve and detail any and all requests, informational updates and concerns

In-Office Collaboration

We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary

The estimated base salary for this role is $ 47,500- $65,300/ year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
