Job summary

BSH Home Appliances Corporation in Irvine, CA, is seeking a senior strategist to support regional strategy development and implementation. You will co-own regional strategy with the RNA team, coordinating with Munich and other regional groups, and drive strategic projects in a cross-functional setup.

You will prepare analyses for the RNA board, present findings to senior leadership, and help develop functional strategies aligned with regional and global goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field.
• 7-10 Years of Experience (strategy development) – Required
• 5-7 Years of Experience (project management) – Required
• 5-7 Years of Experience (consulting) – Preferred
• Deep understanding of strategic frameworks
• Comfortable in ambiguous situations
• Ability to spar, challenge, and advise senior leadership
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership

Your responsibilities

Support strategy development and implementation for BSH Region North America (henceforth referred to RNA) as an independent contributor by acting as a strategy development and implementation support for the RNA board of management, independently managing strategic projects and being responsible for RNA in BSH’s global strategy process.

Regional strategy development and implementation

As co-owner of regional strategy process manage strategy development and implementation for Region North America for BSH and align regional strategy with corporate strategy

Take on responsibility of coordinating regional strategy and corporate strategy with stakeholders from corporate in Munich and other regional teams

Conduct workshops to assist the strategy formation and implementation

Strategic project management

Support strategic projects and programs functioning in range of roles spanning from full time project manager to strategic sparring partner working as part of cross functional teams

Manage, consult strategic project on behalf of RNA board of management or functional leadership for the operational side of the business

Conduct relevant research to support the projects or strategy development

Board and senior management support

Provide support for RNA board by preparing analysis and presentations

Present findings to senior leadership in BSH

Support functional leadership to develop functional strategies in line with regional and global strategy

Other tasks

Support Head of Strategy with daily tasks

Best practice sharing with corporate strategy and other regional strategy teams

Take on part time responsibility of developing competence center for topics like design thinking, agile organization, market research etc.

Conduct trainings for BSH RNA employees on topics relevant to projects or strategic skills and toolkits

Perform all other duties as assigned

Your profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field Required

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based onyourspecific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
