Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead category strategies, supplier evaluations, and negotiations across programs. You will partner with Planning, Subcontracts, Supplier Management and Engineering to optimize sourcing, reduce risk, and ensure supply continuity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in a related field with years of strategic sourcing experience.
9–11 years of related experience for bachelor’s route; advanced degrees reduce years.
Advanced knowledge of sourcing, procurement and category management.
Experience with supplier economics, cost drivers and TCO concepts.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex negotiations.
Strong hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

Lead category management, supplier evaluations, and sourcing activities.
Develop long-term sourcing strategies across commodities and programs.
Negotiate terms, establish long-term agreements, and manage supplier relations.
Perform make/buy analyses and assess internal capabilities.
Guide workforce planning, coaching, and professional development in sourcing.
Collaborate with Planning, Procurement, Subcontracts and Finance to align strategy.
