Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – FF&E. In this role, you will be responsible for the sourcing and procurement of multiple FF&E related categories (i.e. fixtures, lighting, flooring, visual merchandising, signage, gondolas, furniture, equipment, etc.)essential for client operations. Cost savings arean essential part of the role and you will also play an important role in establishing alternate suppliers for quality, price, and reliability purposes. As an integral part of the team you will assess current contracts and vendors; lead sourcing events (Direct Negotiations, RFx, etc) and work with the client to make final decisions regarding the awarding of contracts to suppliers.As the Senior Manager, you will report to the Director, Strategic Sourcing – FF&E.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Category expertise in FF&E: Fixtures, Lighting, Flooring, Exterior Signage, Gondolas, Furniture, Visual Merchandising, Capital Equipment
• Build strategic sourcing models (market comparison, vendor rationalization, RFx, negotiations, contracting and implementation)
• Determine cost modeling with a total cost of ownership focus
• Negotiating key supplier agreements and working with clients to contract for products and services
• Manage Supplier and Vendor Relationships
• Develop and Montior KPI and SLA’s.
• Develop sourcing schedules and strategies with clients.
• Purchase indirect services and materials.
• Secure cost savings across most/all purchases.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• 4 – 6 years progressively responsible experience in a sourcing and or procurement environment.
• BS or BA
• Familiarity with reading blueprints/drawings and store layouts, preferred.
• Solid analytical skills to understand data and create strategies based on information.
• Strong communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong ownership of the work process from start to end, meeting deadlines and client commitments.
• Self-discipline and a strong intellectual curiosity
• Sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of simultaneous projects.
• Ability to complete work assignments accurately and quickly, while always focusing on accomplishing the goal.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Travel

This position travels up to 10% of the time
