Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing: You’ll be a member of the strategic alliances team that’s responsible for identifying new strategic partners, negotiating commercial terms and legal agreements, leading cross-functional go-to-market activities, and nurturing continued innovation and growth with your partners. This role will specifically focus on bringing cross-functional value to our important Campus ID technology partners to provide them with senior level strategic and operational support, while aligning with Sales to drive revenue.

Who you’ll work with: You work with Campus ID integration and OEM partners, senior leadership, product management, sales and services team members. This includes student information, housing management, card production, identity verification partners, and more.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

Must Have Experience:

  • 5+ years\' experience in B2B SaaS sales, strategy or partner alliance roles
  • Setting the vision, strategy, and success metrics with long term partners
  • Business acumen to envision new opportunities, objectively analyze opportunities and create winning financial models.
  • Initiative to nurture and optimize partnerships by driving collaboration with partners and co-workers to identify mutual growth opportunities.
  • Gaining approval for tough but necessary business decisions
  • Gathering voice-of-customer and voice-of-partner in collaboration with Product Management/Stakeholders to define product feature requirements.
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours for partner, customer and tradeshow engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Technical experience with integration heavy SaaS and on-premises software.
  • Prior experience in the higher education market.
  • Experience with card production hardware and software
  • Experience with closed loop card/ credential transaction systems.
