Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in journalism, communications or a related field.
• 4+ years leading communications campaigns and coordinating teams, with 7+ years in related fields.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multichannel communications plans for NRDC’s Nature Department.
• Create messaging for strategic initiatives and key campaigns.
• Prioritize and manage communications requests across divisions.
• Establish calendars and ongoing priorities for communications activities.
• Collaborate with editorial, digital advocacy, and fundraising teams to drive impact.
• Partner with leadership to develop executive thought leadership strategies.
