Job summary

Resideo seeks a Senior Manager to lead stock plan administration and equity programs worldwide. You will own daily equity administration, partner with Finance, Legal, Payroll, and HR, and drive process improvements and automation while ensuring SOX compliance.

You will manage disclosures, reporting, and training, collaborating with auditors and external providers to deliver accurate, timely equity experience for employees and vendors.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in stock plan administration at a public company.
  • Global equity plan administration experience.
  • Expertise in Employee Stock Purchase Plans and Form 4s/10b5-1.
  • Experience with international equity grants and SOX 404.

Responsibilities

  • Administer global equity programs including stock awards and ESPP.
  • Ensure accurate recording of equity transactions and timely reporting.
  • Prepare reconciliations between equity, accounting, HR and payroll.

Senior Manager, Stock Plan Administration will play a key leadership role in shaping and managing Resideo’s equity administration function. This highly visible position owns the day-to-day administration of our stock incentive plans while monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on all aspects of equity award administration. In this role, the Administrator will lead the execution of employee and non-employee equity programs, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Payroll, and HR teams to ensure a seamless, accurate, and compliant equity experience across the organization.

JOB DUTIES
  • Administer all aspects of Resideo’s global equity programs, including stock awards and employee stock purchase program .
  • Continuously evaluate stock administration function for improvements in processes, implementing automated solutions and holding service providers accountable.
  • Maintain equity award database and ensure that transactions are correctly processed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of new equity awards, stock option exercises, terminations and RSU releases.
  • Ensure accurate and timely tax withholding and reporting to payroll.
  • Prepare reconciliations of equity award data on a monthly basis between Stock Administration records, accounting, HR, payroll, transfer agent, etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring annual reporting forms required by tax authorities and year-end tax statements are produced accurately and filed or distributed timely.
  • Work with internal and external auditors and Finance team for quarterly reviews, year-end audits, as well as to ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place and procedures are followed to satisfy periodic review of compliance with SOX.
  • Be the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and requests regarding equity programs and equity transactions.
  • Prepare training materials and provide training to employees.
  • Prepare reports for business partners and respond to ad-hoc data requests on a timely basis.
  • Assist with the preparation of equity-related exhibits for the Board and Compensation Committee.
  • Manage bonus plan eligibility records by regularly auditing employee bonus plan assignments reported from Oracle to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly bonus plan accruals for all eligible employees and provide to the accounting team.
  • Support the annual compensation planning process related to bonus payments and LTI awards and ensure the accuracy of bonus payments provided to Payroll for disbursement.
  • Administer our recognition program, including setup of annual budgets with the HRBPs, reporting activity monthly, and supporting the processing of awards that fail to process in the tool.
  • Assist Legal team by providing data required to prepare SEC filings such as Form 4s, and review of drafts before filed.
  • Work closely with outside service providers such as equity plans outsourced provider , tax advisors and transfer agent to ensure complete and accurate administration of programs.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • 8+ years in stock plan administration, with experience at a public company.
  • Demonstrated ability administering global equity plans, including use of an equity administration system such as ShareWorks , Equity Edge Online or Fidelity PSW.
  • Expertise in Employee Stock Purchase Plans, review of Form 4s and 10b5-1 plans.
  • Experience with granting and taxation of international equity.
  • Working knowledge of SOX 404.

Hiring Salary Range : The typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $141373.91 to $210911.3 per year but varies by specific work location. For example, the hiring salary for this role in Melville, NY is $169648.7 to $253093.57 per year and New York City, NY is $176717.39 to $263639.13 . Within a range, our company determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.

Incentive Eligible (RBP) : This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 15% of the annual base salary. The bonus is contingent upon both individual and company performance.
