Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Manager, Statistical Programming to shape programming strategy for clinical development programs with a focus on standards, quality, and timely submissions.

This hands-on leader will guide technical execution, oversee contractors, and collaborate with clinical, regulatory, and external vendors to drive efficiency and consistency across deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in clinical research, SAS programming for phase I–IV trials.
• Lead Programmer experience is essential.
• Technical expertise in SDTM, ADaM, and Define.XML.
• Strong understanding of drug development processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic input on programming processes and maintain SOPs.
• Develop standards and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy for clinical projects.
• Lead projects, oversee contractors, and ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
• Program analysis datasets, tables, and regulatory submissions.
• Review CDISC specifications and supporting documentation for submissions.
• Provide programming support for clinical study reports and coordinate with vendors.
• Develop and review SAPs, CRFs, and validation plans.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Statistical Programming to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will shape statistical programming strategy for clinical development programs, with a strong emphasis on standards, quality, and delivery across phase I-IV studies. The position partners closely with clinical, regulatory, and external vendor teams to ensure programming work supports timely and compliant submissions. It also requires a hands-on leader who can guide technical execution while improving efficiency and consistency across deliverables.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $132,000 – $172,000 annually
