Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of professional experience in sponsored programs or research administration.
• 2+ years supervising or managing professional staff.
• Knowledge of federal laws, regulations, and statutes.
• Knowledge of sponsored programs administration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced financial and administrative support for the department's sponsored research portfolio.
• Independently manage a complex portfolio of sponsored awards across proposal, award, and closeout.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators to develop competitive proposals and administer projects.
• Ensure compliance with sponsor and university requirements and provide financial analysis and forecasting.
