Job summary

Equinix seeks a Senior Manager, Business Assurance Services (BAS) to manage the SOX compliance program and lead risk-based financial and operational audits. You will work with the Director and BAS team to design internal controls, coordinate with external auditors, and drive remediation and governance improvements across the enterprise.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant experience, strong SOX knowledge, and the ability to influence stakeholders globally.

• Strong SOX experience with knowledge of audit, accounting, financial processes, risk management, and internal controls.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment while leading teams and collaborating across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SOX compliance program and related financial/operational audits and advisory activities.
• Plan, execute, and optimize ICFR scoping, walkthroughs, risk assessments, and testing.
• Coordinate with external auditors and internal BAS teams on integrated audits.
• Advise management on process improvements and control design across the enterprise.
• Deliver SOX training and guidance to stakeholders.
• Manage external consultants on select engagements and ensure issue remediation.
• Communicate findings effectively to drive remediation and governance improvements.
• Foster a collaborative BAS environment and monitor project timelines and budgets.
