Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr. Manager, Sox Controls/Flows to strengthen the SOX program, ICFR, and risk management during a critical standalone transformation for DePuy Synthes Finance.

The role partners with Finance, IT, Internal Audit, and external auditors to ensure a strong controls environment and regulatory readiness. You will lead design and testing of controls, remediate gaps, maintain process documentation, and embed controls into new systems and processes to support finance

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Internal Controls, or SOX compliance.
• Proven expertise in Finance SOX controls, IT General controls supporting finance, and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with auditors and leading audit readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing effectiveness of SOX controls and financial process flows across Finance.
• Support User Access Management processes and controls as they relate to financial systems.
• Own risk assessment activities for financial reporting, identify gaps, and drive remediation plans.
• Partner with Internal Audit and external auditors to support ICFR/SOX testing and reviews.
• Establish and maintain standardized documentation for controls, narratives, and diagrams.
• Provide leadership to Finance stakeholders on internal control requirements and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement to simplify processes, enhance control efficiency, and reduce risk.
• Monitor regulatory changes impacting SOX and internal controls; embed controls by design in new systems.
