Job description

R2Net is a diamond bridal jewelry company with a technology soul. R2Net Inc. is an innovative technology company that provides e-commerce and supply chain platforms to connect the entire span of the diamond industry ecosystem, including manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.

The Senior Manager of Sourcing is a key supply chain leader responsible for driving sourcing strategy, managing supplier relationships, and executing cost-effective, quality-focused procurement initiatives. This role oversees the sourcing process end-to-end—from identifying vendors and negotiating terms to ensuring continuity of supply and vendor accountability. A successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking, operational execution, and relationship management to optimize the supplier base and support long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and lead sourcing strategies that align with company objectives for cost, quality, speed, and innovation.
  • Partner with Planning and Merchandising teams to ensure vendor capabilities match forecasted demand and product lifecycle needs.
  • Monitor supply market trends and identify alternative sources or risk mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
  • Drive global supply chain improvements by assessing total cost of ownership and optimizing inbound logistics where applicable.
  • Own the vendor relationship lifecycle—from onboarding and capability assessments to ongoing performance reviews and compliance monitoring.
  • Partner with vendors to proactively identify product innovation, cost savings opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Lead contract negotiations, RFQs/RFPs, and competitive bidding processes to ensure best-in-class cost structures and service levels.
  • Align cost proposals with product margin goals and financial plans.
  • Track cost trends, tariffs, and raw material inputs to ensure proactive responses to market dynamics.
  • Work closely with Finance, Legal, Quality, and Merchandising teams to align sourcing decisions with overall company goals.
  • Support new product development and seasonal programs by securing timely, high-quality sourcing aligned with design intent.
  • Participate in vendor scorecarding and strategic reviews with Planning and Inventory teams.
  • Leverage sourcing platforms and ERP systems to manage supplier data, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and any relevant trade regulations.
  • Prepare executive-level reports on sourcing performance, vendor risk, and cost savings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; MBA or CPSM certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Proven success managing vendor relationships, negotiating complex agreements, and driving cost efficiencies.
  • Experience with global sourcing and understanding of international trade, logistics, and compliance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with sourcing platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
