Job description

About Mammoth Brands

Mammoth Brands (formerly Harry’s Inc.) is the modern CPG company behind brands Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, Mando, and Coterie. We’re building a new model—and home—brands, founders, and talent looking to solve unmet needs, improve peoples’ lives, and ultimately challenge the status quo. Our mission is to “Create Things People Like More.” Simply put: everything we do should be better than what already exists. If it’s not, we don’t do it. This guides everything we do, from developing the best product experiences, to making Mammoth Brands a great place to work, to exploring innovative ways to give back to our community.

We got our start in 2013 when our co-founders created Harry's. They built the brand differently—online first, prioritizing direct relationships with customers—and in the process learned they’d created something bigger: a playbook and platform that could help other brands grow and scale to their full potential, and a vision to reimagine consumer packaged goods. Today, Mammoth Brands is a growing portfolio of brands and the largest CPG company built in the last 20 years. Even as we grow, we take extra care to maintain the small, scrappy, entrepreneurial culture that helped to get us where we are today: to create a company that people like more, that better serves its customers, employees, and community. As a company, we’re also committed to making a positive impact and have donated over $20 million through our network of nonprofit partners to date.

We build brands that move fast and think big — and we hire people who are curious about AI, willing to experiment with it in their day-to-day work, and excited to accelerate what's possible. We prioritize giving our team the tools, training, and space to build real fluency, so you grow alongside the technology and help shape how we use it.

The Global Sourcing team at Mammoth Brands works cross-functionally to manage strategic sourcing, production and product development for innovative and performance-driven products in the men’s and women’s grooming market. The team is focused on sourcing the best suppliers and creating optimal supply chains to advance both the Harry’s direct-to-consumer business and retail channels we’ve partnered with across North America and Europe.

About the role

As a member of the Global Sourcing team, you will have the opportunity to work with suppliers from around the globe and manage strategic sourcing, supplier relationships, and production strategy. In this role, you will own the end-to-end supply chain for specific men’s and women’s shave categories - driving strategy, reducing costs, and executing a number of impactful projects as we scale our business.

You will work cross-functionally with teams in New York, Germany, the UK, and Asia – including Marketing, R&D, Quality, Packaging Development, Retail, Distribution, Sales & Operations, Planning, Finance and other functions to lead product launches, optimize our supply chains for speed and cost, and help our brands to flourish.

What you will accomplish
  • As a valued member of the Global Supply team, you will be responsible for overseeing new product introductions (NPI), margin expansion programs, mitigating risk, ensuring supply, and driving continuous improvement projects
  • Accountable for the success of programs from start to finish, including RFQs, determining the supplier selection strategy for components and finished good assembly
  • Set the global supplier strategy to support the company’s extensive portfolio expansion and roadmap
  • Lead cross-functional projects and routinely present metrics, recommendations, and operational considerations to the senior team to inform the company’s strategy for product launches
  • Lead global negotiations with current and future suppliers to support our business objectives; including cost, contracts, escalation, etc.
This should describe you
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain or related field (Finance, Engineering, Economics, etc.)
  • Professional experience in an analytical, data-driven supply chain role, preferably with a background in operations
  • Experience working across multiple verticals in a fast-paced CPG environment
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal). Values relationships and cross-functional team work
  • Ability to collaborate effectively to drive cross-functional consensus
  • Ability to prioritize in a high paced demanding (but fun) environment
  • Strong negotiator who understands multiple techniques and practices. You build long-term value and can navigate complex agreements
  • You thrive in a "high-growth" environment where priorities can shift, and you’re comfortable presenting to senior leadership
  • You are a learner - always seeking to improve yourself, your team, your suppliers and the world around you
  • You are open to travel to meet with suppliers and see manufacturing sites first hand; including domestic and international
  • You appreciate a great result and celebrate accordingly, but you also recognize a failure and take pride in learning from it
  • You make decisions that put the customer first
Here's who you'll work with
  • Reporting to Director, Global Supply (Shave)
  • Working on which team: Sourcing, Global Supply
  • Which teams would they work with cross-functionally: Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Logistics, CSC, Project Management, PD, Quality, Packaging, Finance, Brand
  • External partners (component suppliers, label suppliers, raw material suppliers and contract manufacturers)
Benefits and perks
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401k match
  • Equity in Mammoth Brands
  • Flexible time off and working hours
  • L&D stipend
  • 4 weeks sabbatical after 5 years, 6 weeks after 10 years, and 8 weeks after 15 years
  • 20 fully paid weeks off for parents who give birth, or 16 fully paid weeks off for all other paths to parenthood
  • Fun IRL and virtual events including happy hours, team building events, and parties on our rooftop
  • Free products from our family of brands

The Mammoth Brands' working model is in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Our beautiful 70,000 square foot SoHo office is decked out with bagels on Wednesdays and lunch on Thursdays, and fully stocked kitchens with snacks, coffee, and drinks everyday. Can't forget the free products and the opportunity to have some meetings without Zoom!

We can't quantify all of the intangible things we think you'll love about working at Mammoth Brands, like the exciting challenges we tackle, the smart and humble team you'll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture. That said, our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total rewards package, which also includes a comprehensive set of benefits and our equity program. The base salary hiring range for this position is $118,000-$147,500, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
