Join Taxwell as we reimagine how millions of customers first experience our platform. We're looking for a seasoned Senior Engineering Manager to lead two high-impact teams (15 engineers) responsible for our pre-auth surfaces, authentication flows, and early customer experience.

You'll lead two foundational teams, partner closely with product and design, and play a key role in scaling AI-accelerated development practices across engineering. This role is ideal for someone with strong middle management experience, deep technical fluency, and a passion for building inclusive, high-performing teams—with growing scope and visibility across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Lead two teams and mentor two engineering managers and senior ICs.
• Own delivery across auth, onboarding, and early customer touchpoints.
• Drive roadmap alignment with product, design, and executive stakeholders.
• Scale engineering excellence and adopt AI-powered dev tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.).
• Help shape our engineering culture and future org structure as we grow.

What You Bring

• 8+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in people management, including managing other managers.
• Strong experience delivering consumer-facing web apps at scale.
• Tech fluency in C#/.NET, Vue.js, AWS/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and secure development.
• Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership—able to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.
• Experience with authentication, onboarding, or account management (a plus).

Bonus Points

• Passion for AI-assisted workflows and developer experience.
• Background in fintech, tax, or other highly regulated domains.
