Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development using Agile methodologies.
• 5+ years developing microservices with Python and Java (Spring Boot).
• 3+ years leading distributed, remote software engineering teams.
• 3+ years of experience with containerization tools, including Kubernetes and Docker.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• 1+ year using Agentic AI frameworks and generative AI web services.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Software Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will guide the design and delivery of software solutions that support specialty pharmacy operations within a complex healthcare environment. The position will partner closely with product, business, technology, and vendor teams to shape the roadmap, strengthen engineering execution, and support long-term innovation.

In addition to leading technical strategy and delivery, the manager will coach distributed teams, improve development practices, and help build a high-performing engineering organization. The work will also involve evaluating emerging technologies, including generative AI, to drive efficiency and future-ready capabilities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $106,605 – $284,280 annually
