We are looking for a Senior Manager Software Engineering to join our team. This is a Hybrid (3 days in office, San Jose, CA) role, reporting to the Director Engineering in the Exposure Management & Security Operations department. This role leads and grows a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable products in a security-focused environment, driving both team performance and department‑wide engineering excellence. They combine hands‑on technical credibility with people leadership including developing talent, mentoring, removing roadblocks, and holding teams accountable to commitments. This manager partners with product and engineering leadership to shape strategy, improve processes, and ensure the platform can reliably process petabytes of data for our customers.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full‑time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$180,000 - $225,000 USD
