Job summary

Dermalogica LLC in Carson, Los Angeles area seeks a Senior Manager, Social Content Strategy to lead development of social-first storytelling that drives brand engagement and business performance.

You’ll curate content across creators and in-house productions, craft clear creative briefs, and partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure platform-native storytelling for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in content strategy, social media, digital marketing, or brand marketing.
• Expertise across Meta platforms (Instagram, Facebook), TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
• Proven success developing organic and paid social content strategies.
• Strong creative instincts with experience writing briefs and curating assets.
• Knowledge of creator marketing, user-generated content, and social-first storytelling.
• Analytical with ability to translate performance data into actionable content strategies.
• Experience working with paid media teams to optimize creative performance.
• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience managing and developing direct reports.
• Passion for social culture and staying ahead of trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of social-first content strategies for brand campaigns and launches.
• Curate and edit content from creators, influencers, UGC, campaigns, and in-house productions.
• Develop clear, insight-driven creative briefs for internal teams and partners.
• Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure content reflects brand standards.
• Optimize creative for organic and paid social placements.
• Maintain a balanced content ecosystem across educational, community-driven, cultural, creator-led, and product-focused storytelling.
• Own the organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and Facebook.
• Develop platform-specific content strategies aligned with audience behavior and trends.
• Grow YouTube and Pinterest reach and engagement.
• Monitor trends and competitor activity to evolve strategies.
• Analyze performance and report on growth and campaign results.
• Collaborate with influencer teams to leverage creator content.
• Manage social content calendar with campaigns and launches.
• Mentor and develop a direct report.
