Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Manager, Smart Buildings & Connected Environments to lead the development and delivery of technology-enabled building and workplace solutions across strategic client markets. This role serves as a subject matter expert and growth leader focused on smart buildings, IoT, analytics, and digital workplace initiatives.

You will work with clients to define technology strategies that improve user experience, operational efficiency, and building performance, while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Technology, Building Systems, Construction Management, or related field plus 8 years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in smart buildings, workplace technology, building systems integration, consulting, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading client engagements and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
• Familiarity with Smartsheets or other Project Management platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead development of smart building roadmaps and implementation strategies.
• Advise clients on IoT, workplace technologies, building intelligence, and digital workplace initiatives.
• Provide technical oversight and consulting leadership for project execution.
• Support multi-site and enterprise-wide technology deployments.
• Develop standards, governance frameworks, and deployment methodologies.
