At Workstreet, we are on an exciting journey to help businesses scale securely by building and implementing cutting-edge security and compliance programs. We're a fast-growing startup specializing in frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and more. Our goal is to empower companies to meet regulatory standards while enhancing their cybersecurity posture from day one!
We’re looking for a Senior Manager to lead and scale our Security Questionnaire team. In this role, you’ll own the delivery, strategy, and operations of a critical client-facing service line. You’ll guide a growing team, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure Workstreet’s clients receive high-quality, timely, and accurate responses to their security questionnaires — all while helping us evolve and scale the program for long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and scale a multi-level team, including managers and individual contributors, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop team leads and managers to drive execution, maintain quality standards, and support the growth of their direct reports.
- Create clarity around roles, workflows, and ownership to ensure consistent execution and performance across all levels of the team.
Functional Ownership & Program Design
- Own the Security Questionnaire function end-to-end — including process design, quality standards, tooling, and delivery metrics.
- Build and refine internal processes and frameworks that enable the team to scale efficiently while maintaining high-quality client output.
- Serve as a key decision-maker in defining how the service line evolves to meet future client and business needs.
Performance Metrics & Executive Reporting
- Define and track success metrics across quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to executive leadership highlighting team performance, risks, and opportunities for investment or improvement.
- Leverage data to forecast team capacity, inform headcount planning, and support resource allocation.
Client Experience & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, particularly during onboarding or escalated engagements.
- Ensure client needs are met through timely, high-quality responses and proactive communication.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Delivery leadership to align expectations and support enterprise client engagements.
Process Optimization & Tooling Strategy
- Evaluate and implement automation and tooling improvements that reduce manual work and improve consistency.
- Own internal knowledge management strategy — ensuring templates, SOPs, and training resources evolve with the business.
- Drive adoption of scalable systems that improve turnaround time without sacrificing quality.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Compliance, Sales, and Delivery teams to ensure questionnaire responses reflect Workstreet’s security posture and meet client expectations.
- Influence broader service delivery and operational decisions by providing insights from the questionnaire function.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success and Compliance teams to surface recurring client concerns, identify documentation gaps, and improve the overall client experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, security questionnaires, or technical documentation, including 2+ years managing managers or senior-level contributors.
- Proven success leading and scaling high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Expertise in security and compliance questionnaire processes (e.g., SIG, CAIQ, vendor risk assessments).
- Strong program management skills with the ability to manage across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in client-facing contexts.
- Strategic and data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to inform decisions and forecast needs.
Preferred Skills
- Experience using platforms like Drata, Vanta, SecureFrame, or other compliance automation tools.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISA, or CISSP are a plus.
