The Chicago Cubs are seeking a Senior Manager, Security Operations to oversee security strategy and. risk posture for Sloan Park and the Nike Performance Center in Mesa, AZ.
You will lead end-to-end security operations, incident response, and collaboration with internal partners and law enforcement. Responsibilities include managing contract security, establishing KPIs, and ensuring regulatory compliance while protecting personnel, guests, and assets.

COMPENSATION: $80,000 - $100,000 base salary USD and eligible for discretionary bonus plan

The CHICAGO CUBS FRANCHISE, a charter member of Major League Baseball’s National League since 1876, has won the National League pennant 17 times and was the first team to win back-to-back World Series titles in the 1907 and 1908 seasons. In 2016, the Chicago Cubs made history again when the team won its first World Series in 108 years, ending the longest championship drought in North American sports. Known for its ivy-covered outfield walls, hand-operated scoreboard and famous Marquee, iconic Wrigley Field has been the home of the Chicago Cubs since 1916 and is the second oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball. In 2009, the Ricketts family assumed ownership of the Chicago Cubs and established three main goals for the organization: Win the World Series, Preserve and Improve Wrigley Field, and Be a Good Neighbor.
The Senior Manager, Security Operations is responsible for the leadership, operational effectiveness, and overall security risk posture of Sloan Park and the Nike Performance Center in Mesa, Arizona. This role provides end-to-end ownership of physical security operations, security technology systems, contract security services, emergency preparedness, and incident management programs. The Senior Manager serves as the primary security leader for the Mesa campus and is accountable for security performance metrics, regulatory and policy compliance, continuous improvement initiatives, and the protection of employees, players, guests, visitors, and organizational assets. The Senior Manager serves as the primary security liaison between Sloan Park and the Chicago Cubs Central Security Operations team, ensuring alignment of security strategy, operational standards, risk mitigation efforts, incident management, and security technology initiatives across the organization. This role partners closely with Facilities, Event Operations, Legal, and local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to deliver a coordinated, proactive, and enterprise-aligned security program.
Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
Work Schedule Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and all home Spring Training games and major events. Must be available to respond to emergencies and critical incidents outside of normal business hours.
