Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• CPA certification required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong SEC reporting experience, ideally in a public company.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP; experience researching and resolving complex accounting issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEC financial reporting, including quarterly and annual filings and disclosures.
• Research, interpret, and implement new accounting standards and assess their impact.
• Lead technical accounting analyses for complex transactions (revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, equity transactions, other non-routine matters).
• Prepare and review technical accounting memorandums and accounting policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly and annual audits.
• Monitor SEC regulations and GAAP changes, communicating impacts to leadership.
• Support preparation of financial statements, footnotes, and external disclosures.
• Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Legal, Treasury, Tax, and operations on accounting matters.
• Identify opportunities to improve policies, reporting processes, and controls.
• Provide mentorship and act as SME across the organization.
