Job summary

Immix Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a senior accounting professional to own monthly closes, SEC reporting, equity administration, and internal controls in a Nasdaq-listed environment.

You will prepare and review 10-Q/10-K, support 8-K and proxy filings, and manage stock-based compensation accounting and equity reporting for the Board. You will work closely with the VP of Finance & Accounting, supporting IFRS-like US GAAP guidance and driving process improvements in a small finance team in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with CPA status or exams completed.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 experience serving SEC registrants.
• Hands-on experience preparing/auditing Forms 10-Q and 10-K with strong US GAAP and SOX knowledge.
• Knowledge of stock-based compensation (ASC 718) and EPS/compliance reporting.
• Ability to work independently in a small team and communicate clearly in writing.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with SEC/XBRL software and cloud ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly close: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, flux analysis; manage close calendar to meet 10-Q/10-K deadlines.
• Prepare or review 10-Q and 10-K, including statements, footnotes, MD&A and XBRL tagging; support 8-K, proxy and related filings.
• Oversee equity plan administrator and equity ledger; manage stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718.
• Coordinate regulatory financial reporting: Nasdaq compliance, government surveys, state/local filings, foreign subsidiary reporting.
• Interface with external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audit; maintain SOX controls and remediation.
• Support future policies for commercial launch accounting and process automation in a small-team setting.
