Job summary

Green Key Resources in New York is seeking an experienced accounting professional to broaden exposure to SEC reporting, technical accounting, financial reporting, and SOX. The role offers broad visibility and opportunities to impact reporting processes.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, prepare SEC filings, financial schedules, and support Boards and Audit Committee with reporting. 4+ years in public accounting or large corporate settings encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Background in public accounting and/or a large corporate accounting environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and coordination of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) and related disclosures.
• Prepare financial schedules, workpapers, analyses, and supporting documentation for quarterly and annual reporting.
• Support the preparation of subsidiary financial statements and related disclosures.
• Assist with quarterly disclosure checklists to ensure GAAP and SEC reporting compliance.
• Support stock administration activities, including Form 4 filings and dividend payments.
• Help maintain SEC and NYSE reporting compliance and coordinate with internal/external partners.
• Provide support for internal and external audit requests and SOX 404 compliance.
• Participate in the preparation of reporting packages for Audit Committee and Board of Directors.
• Coordinate with external partners on press releases and investor relations activities.
• Perform competitive analyses and ad-hoc accounting/projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and streamline existing accounting and reporting processes.
