Salomon, part of Amer Sports, is seeking a Senior Manager for Sales Operations, Data, Analytics, and Forecasting in North America. You will lead forecasting, analytics, and cross-functional data initiatives to support wholesale channels and brand growth.

The role focuses on dashboards, reporting tools, and process improvements, with collaboration across Sales, Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive performance.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in sales ops, analytics, planning, finance, or related functions.
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI and Snowflake BI skills.
  • Experience with forecasting and demand planning.
  • 3+ years of leadership preferred.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
  • Experience within a wholesale, consumer goods, footwear, apparel, or outdoor brand environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and consolidate forecasts across accounts, channels, and categories.
  • Track performance against plans and seasonal targets.
  • Analyze sales trends, inventory, order book health, and risks.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools.
  • Serve as primary administrator for sales platforms and reporting tools.
  • Coordinate data and reporting needs across Sales, Planning, Finance, Customer Service and Supply Chain.

OVERVIEW

The Senior Manager, SalesOperationsserves as the operational and analytical backbone of the North America sales organization. This roleis responsible forleading a team focused on forecasting, reporting, dashboard developmentandmaintenance, business analysis,doorperformance,wholesale account planning,sales platform administration, and cross-functional coordination that enables effective commercial execution.

Reporting to the Director, Sales Operations, this individual transforms data into actionable insights, improves business processes, and helps drive alignment between Sales, Planning, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Forecasting & Business Analysis
  • Consolidateandmaintainsales forecasts across accounts, channels, and categories.
  • Track performance against plans, budgets, and seasonal targets.
  • Analyze sales trends, inventory positions, order book health, and business risks.
  • Deliver recommendations to improve commercial performance.
  • Interface with key wholesale partners
  • Develop LRP incoordinationwith key account leaders.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop andmaintaindashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting tools.
  • ManageSPS and Power BIdatafeeds,reportingdevelopment andaccuracyincludingbut not limitedtoDatamodeling, DAXmeasuresand row level security
  • Support executive reporting and business reviews.
  • Translate complex data into clear business insights.
Systems & Process Management
  • Serve asprimaryadministrator for sales-related platforms and reporting tools.
  • Support future CRM and B2B platform implementations and enhancements.
  • Drive user adoption and process compliance.
  • Ensure data quality and system integrity.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Act as key liaison between Sales, Planning, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
  • Support seasonal planning activities andforecastingreviews.
  • Coordinate data and reporting needs for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Build and develop a high-performing Sales Analytics and Planning organization.
  • Coach and develop direct reports while fostering a culture of results, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Manage priorities and resource allocation across multiple business initiatives.
