Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Glenview, IL seeks a Senior Manager for Rigid Plastic Packaging within the Sustainability & Materials Center of Excellence. You will lead a team delivering innovative, cost-competitive packaging solutions that meet sustainability and regulatory requirements across the North American portfolio.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Engineering, Materials, Chemical or Packaging Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of RD technology development and commercialization in packaging.
• Experience leading end-to-end development projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of materials, polymers, barriers, and manufacturing constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of rigid plastic packaging technology strategies and initiatives.
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, universities, and external partners.
• Identify solutions to meet sustainability, compliance and cost goals.
• Deliver packaging designs to PBS with defined performance outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership and governance for packaging reviews and decisions.
• Manage budgets, resources, schedules, and risk for projects and programs.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to PMO best practices.
