Role Description The Inhouse Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Apex, NC. This role supports store leadership by analyzing store performance, identifying opportunities to improve operations, and recommending practical solutions that enhance efficiency, customer experience, and profitability. Day-to-day tasks include gathering and interpreting data on sales, inventory, and customer trends; preparing reports and presentations; and collaborating with managers and frontline team members to implement process improvements. The Inhouse Consultant will assist with change management, help document procedures, and provide training or guidance on new initiatives. This role also participates in cross-functional projects, ensures recommendations align with corporate standards, and maintains clear communication with stakeholders across the store.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret retail performance data and develop actionable recommendations.
• Skills in process improvement, operations support, and project coordination within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with store leadership and frontline teams.
• Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through on initiatives.
• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation tools) and comfort working with data and reports.
• Experience in retail, grocery, or supermarket operations is beneficial; prior consulting or business analysis experience is a plus.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on‑site in Apex, NC, including standing and moving around the store as needed to observe and support operations.
