Frazier & Deeter in the United States is seeking an experienced State and Local Tax (SALT) Sales Tax Consulting Senior Manager to lead and grow our SALT practice. You will provide high-level client service, deliver complex SALT solutions, and contribute to business development across a national footprint.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive SALT tax consulting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA/JD/CMI or Enrolled Agent preferred.
• Strong client service and communication skills; ability to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SALT sales & use tax services including registrations, tax compliance, taxability decision matrix, voluntary disclosures, tax research, preparation of memoranda, drafting client correspondence, nexus studies, refund recovery studies, and assisting clients with handling state sales tax audits.
• Demonstrate an understanding of complex tax and accounting concepts and apply experience and technical expertise to client situations.
• Serve as a thought leader in the F&D SALT practice and stay current with developments impacting SALT clients.
• Participate in staff recruiting and supervise, mentor and develop staff level team members.
• Play a key role in new business generation and client-base development within F&D service groups by identifying client needs and offerings.
• Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills and proficiency with tax software and technology; attend professional development regularly.
