Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline is seeking a Senior R&D Procurement Manager in Clinical Services to lead end-to-end procurement for Medicines Specialty Labs and Companion Diagnostics in support of global clinical trials. You will negotiate contracts, partner with multiple functions in a matrixed R&D organization, and drive data‑driven sourcing strategies to secure value while aligning with GSK priorities.

• Bachelor's Degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of category management in Global Procurement or equivalent.
• Experience developing project plans and leading complex negotiations.

As a Senior R&D Procurement Manager in Clinical Services, you will be accountable for a category of outsourced services needed for GSK's clinical trials:

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers that secure favorable terms for procurement of goods and services contracts in line with the agreed business requirements
• Ensure that business requirements are clearly defined and supplier performance management is in place to deliver value to GSK
• Lead strategic review with in-depth category knowledge

If you are based in Cambridge, MA; Waltham, MA; Rockville, MD; or San Francisco, CA, the annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges $113,850 to $189,750. The US salary ranges take into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share‑based long‑term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role. Available benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
