Providence is seeking a Senior Manager Quality to drive Operational Excellence across Patient Access Services. The role includes process improvement, Epic enhancements, training, data analysis, and HR management, with a focus on compliance and system-wide standardization.

You will lead teams in a large healthcare setting. Ideal candidates bring extensive Revenue Cycle experience, strong leadership, and expertise in regulatory requirements, ensuring high-quality patient access and pre-service

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare management, public health, or related field.
• 8+ years in Patient Access Services or Revenue Cycle.
• 10+ years in a large healthcare delivery system.
• 6+ years of management experience.
• Experience with Revenue Cycle processes: registration, scheduling, authorization, denials, billing.
• Experience evaluating issues and trends from both creative and systemic angles.
• Experience with legal/compliance in Access Services and Revenue Cycle (Joint Commission, EMTALA, HIPAA, CMS).
• Experience with computer systems and IT solutions in Revenue Cycle.
• Experience developing training materials and standardizing processes.
• Experience with process improvement, change management, and operational improvements.

Senior Manager Quality - Remote

The Senior Manager Operational Excellence is responsible for managing, evaluating and improving the Patient Access Services departments in all states to ensure stable, highly qualified Patient Access Services and Pre-Service teams across the enterprise. Specific program oversight may include process improvement, Epic enhancements and upgrades, training and education, data analysis and interpretation, including functions related to the management of teams, strategic planning and measurement, and human resource management.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare management, public health, or related degree
• 8 or more years Patient Access Services or Revenue Cycle department experience.
• 10 or more years of experience in a large healthcare delivery system.
• 6 or more years management experience.
• Demonstrated experience with all aspects of Revenue Cycle including registration, scheduling, front desk check-in processes, authorization, denials, insurance billing.
• Demonstrated experience with the evaluation of issues and trends from both a creative and a systemic angle.
• Demonstrated experience with legal and compliance requirements of Access Services and Revenue Cycle including Joint Commission, EMTALA, HIPAA, CMS and others.
• Demonstrated experience with computer systems and I.T. solutions utilized within Revenue Cycle including registration/scheduling systems, automated eligibility solutions, computerized training delivery systems, payment processing systems, scanning solutions and third-party vendors.
• Demonstrated experience with development of training materials based on different learning styles.
• Demonstrated experience with standardizing complex and disparate practices and maintaining common processes.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems.
• Demonstrated experience with optimizing workflow processes with emphasis as they relate to complex computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Epic Healthcare Systems experience.
