Job summary

Providence is seeking a Senior Manager Quality - Remote to lead and improve Patient Access Services and Pre-Service teams across states. You will guide program oversight, process improvements, Epic enhancements and upgrades, training, and data interpretation to drive enterprise-wide excellence.

In this role you will manage teams, plan strategically, measure performance, and handle HR-related aspects within Revenue Cycle operations.

Specific program oversight may include process improvement, Epic enhancements and upgrades, training and education, data analysis and interpretation, including functions related to the management of teams, strategic planning and measurement, and human resource management.

• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare management, public health, or related degree
• 8 or more years Patient Access Services or Revenue Cycle department experience.
• 10 or more years of experience in a large healthcare delivery system.
• 6 or more years management experience.
• Demonstrated experience with all aspects of Revenue Cycle including registration, scheduling, front desk check-in processes, authorization, denials, insurance billing.
• Demonstrated experience with the evaluation of issues and trends from both a creative and a systemic angle.
• Demonstrated experience with legal and compliance requirements of Access Services and Revenue Cycle including Joint Commission, EMTALA, HIPAA, CMS and others.
• Demonstrated experience with computer systems and I.T. solutions utilized within Revenue Cycle including registration/scheduling systems, automated eligibility solutions, computerized training delivery systems, payment processing systems, scanning solutions and third-party vendors.
• Demonstrated experience with development of training materials based on different learning styles.
• Demonstrated experience with standardizing complex and disparate practices and maintaining common processes.
• Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodology, change management, operational improvement in complex systems.
• Demonstrated experience with optimizing workflow processes with emphasis as they relate to complex computer systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Epic Healthcare Systems experience.
