The Hershey Company is seeking a Senior Manager Quality Assurance to lead quality, microbiology, and sanitation across a high-speed manufacturing environment at the Hershey, PA Reeseplant. You will oversee teams, strengthen controls, and guide risk mitigation to protect consumers and product integrity.

You will translate performance trends into clear recommendations, build capability across the Food Quality & Safety organization, and drive strategic improvements with senior leaders.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required; Food Science, Biology, or related field preferred.
• SQF Practitioner, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual, HACCP, and/or Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in quality assurance or food safety in manufacturing.

Mansioni

• Lead multiple teams in food safety, quality assurance, microbiology, sanitation, pest control, hazard controls, monitoring, and documentation.
• Develop and execute strategic short-term plans and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality systems and reduce variability.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, Hershey standards, and GFSI/Safe Quality Food standards.
• Lead risk assessments, investigations, root-cause analysis, and CAPAs; verify actions are effective.
• Optimize quality management systems, including SOPs, HACCP, and control plans.
• Maintain inspection and audit readiness; liaise during inspections and quality incidents.
• Partner cross-functionally on new products and processes and communicate performance to senior leaders.
• Coach and develop managers and SMEs; support workforce planning, budgeting, and training.
