Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Sr Mgr Laboratory Services in Hershey, PA to lead the Analytical Laboratory team within Manufacturing Quality Systems and Laboratory Operation. The role oversees analytical chemistry, physical testing, and data management, partnering with R&D and manufacturing to enable quality and compliance.

You will manage up to 15 staff across scientists and technicians, coordinate 75,000 analyses, and drive laboratory strategy, coaching, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Analytical Laboratory team, delivering reliable testing support for ingredients, in-process materials, and finished goods.
• Oversee analytical chemistry, physical testing, food safety verification, regulatory testing, and instrumentation upkeep.
• Provide technical leadership for R&D, manufacturing, and quality initiatives.
• Manage laboratory governance processes including COA and data management.
