NBC Universal Orlando seeks a Senior Manager, Project Support – GAP to drive strategic processes, documentation and SOP governance across the GAP division.   • Assist in development of Long-Range Plans for GAP by analyzing diverse data sources and managing data integration and analysis.
  • Support Finance, Legal and other project teams to identify best practices and improvements; help implement new policies and staffing.
  • Develop process improvement tools, dashboards, schedules and reporting platforms.
  • Facilitate comprehensive risk management planning and scalable mitigation.
  • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities following UO policy and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Project Support – GAP facilitates the strategic global vision for departmental/project processes, compliance, training, and SOP documentation within the GAP division. This position provides integration, analytical, decision and communication support to drive alignment on behalf of the key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. In addition to leading GAP’s strategic processes, the Senior Manager, Project Support – GAP leads stakeholder integration for all levels of Design, Development, and Delivery across all lines of business within Universal Destinations & Experiences (UDX) to deliver key metrics related to documentation for the delivery of capital projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure strategies and implementation plans align with GAP’s Charter, Mission, and Vision. Institutes best-practice procedures and documentation. Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GOP across all project management processes. Assist the Director in development of the Long-Range Plans (LRP) for GAP by analyzing several data sources including IBE (Rockwell: Install, Base Evaluation), Maximo, Guest Experience & Analytics, GSAT, Quality Control Reports, PMWeb, etc. Manage the integration and data analysis the Venue Sustainability Evaluation (VSE). Partner with stakeholders to fulfill VSE requirements. Facilitate the establishment of venue baselines for Reliability, Operations, and critical component use rates in contribution to VSE activities. Facilitate training of internal/external stakeholders and teams regarding safety, documentation, processes, systems, and project management.

  • Implement audits, and quality control processes to support project management acquiring all documentation and deliverables.

  • Provide support to Finance, Legal and other Project related teams to identify best practices, optimization, and functionality. Identify areas of concern and opportunities for improvement. Facilitate the implementation of new policies, and availability in the interviewing process for staffing.

  • Build and develop process improvement tools to support the GAP organization, utilizing existing resources and identifying new resources for continuous improvement. Develop dashboards, schedules, and reporting platforms.

  • Facilitate comprehensive risk management plan, utilizing scalable planning methods in anticipation for project risks and opportunities.

  • Understands and actively participants in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable technical field required

  • Advanced Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:
  • 7 years’ experience in direct theme park specific technical/engineering roles required or similar experience in related technical field

  • Or equivalent combination of experience and education
