Job summary

WestRock Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Engineering - Capital Projects. This remote role involves heavy travel, up to 75%, with proximity to a major airport preferred.

You will lead a team to manage all phases of capital projects, ensuring safe execution, scope definition, budgeting, and timely outcomes across our corrugated packaging operations. The role emphasizes developing project requirements, forecasting investments, and coordinating with finance and plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Engineering discipline degree preferred or relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years of project management experience with capital projects.
• Experience leading teams and managing capital budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project engineering teams through capital execution from planning to budget reconciliation.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and process safety requirements are met across projects.
• Develop project scope, timelines, drawings, specifications, and installation instructions.
• Coordinate with contractors, finance, and local plant management to finalize submissions and forecasting.
