Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls (Life Science) to provide portfolio-level oversight and strategic leadership across major programs. You will establish delivery strategies, governance, and control frameworks while acting as a senior advisor to client stakeholders and mentoring mid-senior staff.

You will influence staffing, delivery models, and contribute to internal tools and process improvements, drawing on extensive project controls expertise and exceptional

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred; certification preferred.
  • Thirteen or more years of related experience with 2+ years of management experience.
  • Advanced project controls skills and expert client relations, management and consulting.
  • Strong analytical and exemplary written/oral communication.

Job Title Senior Manager, Project Controls (Life Science), Project & Development Services

Provides portfolio-level or major-program oversight of project controls services. Balances technical leadership with increased responsibility for people leadership, client advisory support, and account participation.

Essential Job Duties
  • Provide portfolio-level oversight of project controls delivery.
  • Establish delivery strategies, controls frameworks, and governance structures.
  • Serve as senior advisor to client stakeholders.
  • Mentor and oversee Managers and Senior Project Controls staff.
  • Influence staffing, resourcing, and delivery models.
  • Contribute to internal tools, standards, and process improvements.
Education/Experience/Training

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field. Master's degree preferred. Certification preferred. Thirteen or more years of related experience with 2 or more years of management experience required. Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the assigned department or assigned practice area. Advanced project controls skills. Expert in client relations, client management and consulting. Highly organized with strong analytical skills. Expertise using cost and schedule management software. Experience within one or more of the following industries required: construction, life sciences, data centers, industrial or related technical field. Must possess exemplary communication skills – both oral and written.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role. The compensation for the position is: $ 157,250.00 - $185,000.00
