Pratt & Whitney, based in Andover, MA, seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead the PS Global Patriot program, coordinating with RTX OEM partners worldwide to meet contract requirements and deliver the scope on time and within budget.

You will oversee cost, schedule, and performance, drive proposals, manage risks, and lead a matrixed team across domestic and international sites with about 10% travel. This is an onsite role in multiple U.S. locations.

Qualifications

  • Typically a University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • PMP or Raytheon Program Manager Level 4 Certification or higher or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) certification
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of assigned program cost, schedule, and technical execution to ensure predictable performance, with accountability for profit and loss, AOP, and financial metric reviews.
  • Drive the entire proposal development process from pursuit to start-up, including milestone reviews, gate approvals, and the Independent Review Process.
  • Manage risk and opportunity (R&O) processes, planning, assessment, prioritization, development and implementation of handling plans, monitoring progress, and reporting R&O.
  • Identify, develop, and assess new business opportunities to achieve revenue growth over the 5-year plan.
  • Lead a matrixed, cross-functional and geographically dispersed team across domestic and international locations.
  • Regularly collaborate with internal partners across the Raytheon business.
  • Travel domestically and internationally about 10% of the time.

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support Product Support (PS) Global Patriot Spain program. Reporting directly to the PS International Patriot Associate Director, this role involves supporting a globally dispersed team and collaborating with RTX OEM partners worldwide. The Senior PM is accountable for managing the program lifecycle, cost, schedule, and performance. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the program scope of work is completed on time, within budget, and meet the specified contract requirements. The position is also responsible for coordinating proposals, business plans, and program budgets. In addition, the Senior PM establishes cost focused performance targets and directs program activities to achieve these goals.

Please note: This position is an ONSITE role, located in Andover, MA; El Paso, TX; McKinney, TX; Lawton, OK; and Huntsville, AL. No relocation will be provided for this role.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the entire proposal development process from pursuit to start-up, including leading milestone reviews, gate approvals, and the Independent Review Process.
  • Manage risk and opportunity (R&O) processes, planning, assessment, prioritization, development and implementation of handling plans, monitoring progress, and tracking and reporting R&O.
  • Identify, develop, and assess new business opportunities, and allocate resources to achieve annual revenue growth and long-term objectives over the 5-year plan.
  • Lead a matrixed, cross-functional and geographically dispersed team across both domestic and international locations.
  • Regularly collaborate with internal partners across the Raytheon business.

Qualifications We Must Have

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Extensive experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracts, as well as the program lifecycle from Program pursuit-to-startup, development, production through sustainment of product delivery and service/support.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning and execution, including EVMS, EACs, R&O Management, and proficiency with Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Proficiency in managing an Inter-Organizational Transfer (IOT) support environment, with a strong understanding of RTX Global Mobility practices and international program processes, ensuring smooth resource and personnel transfers across international borders in compliance with global policies.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and technical skills, complemented by excellent business communication and presentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and program execution experience in effectively managing staffing, efficiently allocating resources, and overseeing assignments to achieve program objectives and meet deadlines.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
